Senior Wintel Engineer

Job Description

What you’ll need to succeed

• Strong experience across Microsoft infrastructure, particularly Windows Server and Active Directory
• Hands-on expertise with virtualisation technologies, including VMware and Hyper-V, with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) certification highly regarded
• Proven background delivering end-to-end infrastructure projects within an MSP or professional services environment
• Strong experience working in project-focused roles, with the ability to deliver across multiple concurrent engagements
• Experience working to scope and delivering outcomes in line with Statements of Work (SoW)
• Ability to translate high-level requirements into detailed technical designs and deliver scalable solutions
• Strong customer-facing consulting skills with the ability to engage and communicate effectively across both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with backup and recovery solutions such as Veeam or Commvault
• Broad exposure to storage and hyperconverged platforms (e.g. Nutanix, Dell, Cisco) is highly desirable.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
