Principal GenAI Solutions Engineer

Your new role

This role sits at the intersection of engineering, solution design and client engagement, shaping and validating AI solutions that can be confidently sold, delivered and scaled across enterprise environments.

You’ll act as a trusted technical partner for senior client stakeholders, helping them understand what is feasible, valuable and production-ready, while supporting early engagement phases and guiding delivery teams through build and deployment.

Responsibilities include:

• Shaping and articulating AI and GenAI solutions to senior technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Validating the technical feasibility, performance and scalability of ML and GenAI use cases
• Supporting pre-sales discussions by explaining solution design, delivery approach and technical trade-offs
• Demonstrating clear pathways from PoC and pilot into full production environments
• Working closely with architects and commercial teams to ensure solutions are both credible and sellable
• Providing input into effort estimation, delivery approach and technical risk management
• Acting as a bridge between client-facing teams and offshore engineering groups
• Advising on MLOps practices, model lifecycle management and long-term sustainability

What you’ll need to succeed

• Strong hands-on experience designing, building and deploying ML and AI solutions
• Proven ability to engage confidently with senior client stakeholders and decision-makers
• Experience explaining complex AI concepts in clear, commercially relevant terms
• Solid understanding of MLOps, model lifecycle management and production AI systems
• Track record of industrialising PoCs into enterprise-grade solutions
• Exposure to GenAI implementations, fine-tuning techniques and performance optimisation
• Familiarity with monitoring, reliability engineering and AI risk considerations
• Comfort operating in client-facing environments where credibility and communication matter
