Job Description

Your new role

As an Infrastructure Engineer, you’ll play a key role in supporting and enhancing the organisation’s IT infrastructure.

There are two opportunities available within the team, driven by continued growth and increased demand across the business.

This is a high-impact infrastructure role within a Microsoft-heavy environment, where M365 capability is critical. You will be heavily involved in designing, supporting, and optimising Microsoft cloud and identity platforms, with a particular focus on Entra ID, Azure AD, and M365 services.

You’ll also support initiatives around modernising file services, including leveraging SharePoint as a scalable file storage solution to replace traditional file servers, with exposure to integrating these environments into broader workflows and automation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Advanced support and engineering across Microsoft environments, including Entra ID, Azure AD, and M365
  • Designing and supporting modern workplace solutions within the M365 ecosystem (core requirement)
  • Working with SharePoint Online, including supporting its use as a document management and file storage platform
  • Supporting and improving identity, access, and security controls (including conditional access)
  • Exposure to and involvement in Power Automate workflows (desirable)
  • Maintenance and optimisation of core infrastructure, including hybrid cloud environments
  • Participation in infrastructure projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Contributing to technical documentation and best practice standards

What you’ll need to succeed

  • Strong experience in a Level 3 infrastructure or systems engineering role
  • Proven experience working in Microsoft-heavy environments, with strong M365 expertise (essential)
  • Hands-on experience with Entra ID / Azure AD, conditional access, and identity management
  • Experience with SharePoint Online, ideally including file migration or replacing traditional file servers
  • Exposure to Power Automate or similar automation tools (desirable)
  • Strong understanding of hybrid cloud environments (Azure preferred)
  • Ability to work in a small, collaborative team with high ownership and autonomy
  • Experience supporting large-scale or enterprise environments
