Procurement Coordinator

Job Description

responsibilities:

1. Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for material requirements and quotations.
2. Source and identify suitable vendors based on project requirements.
3. Collect, compare, and evaluate vendor quotations, rates, specifications, and delivery timelines.
4. Coordinate procurement based on BOQs, project requirements, drawings, and specifications.
5. Prepare and maintain quotation comparison sheets, purchase records, and vendor documentation.
6. Follow up with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and material availability.
7. Coordinate with project and site teams to understand material requirements and timelines.
8. Assist in negotiating rates, delivery schedules, and commercial terms with vendors.
9. Track procurement costs and support the team in maintaining project budgets.
10. Maintain accurate records of purchase orders, invoices, quotations, and vendor details.
11. Support inventory and material tracking to avoid delays in project execution.
12. Coordinate with accounts and internal teams for invoice and payment-related documentation

Other requirements

1. 0–2 years of experience in procurement, purchase, construction, interiors, or a related field.

2. Graduate/Diploma in Civil Engineering.

3. Basic understanding of BOQs, material requirements, quotations, and vendor coordination.

4. Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.

5. Strong follow-up and coordination skills.

6. Good communication and negotiation skills.

7. Detail-oriented with good numerical and analytical ability.

8. Ability to manage multiple requirements and meet deadlines.

9. Candidates with exposure to construction/interior projects will be preferred
