Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Revenue Ownership (Primary KRA)

– Deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets

– Drive project-based selling and avoid transactional sales

– Ensure margin protection and prevent price erosion

– Achieve order booking and billing targets

2. End-to-End Sales Cycle Management

– Manage complete sales cycle:

  • Lead generation Specification Tender Negotiation Closure Execution

– Maintain strong conversion ratios

– Ensure early-stage involvement in projects

3. Dealer & Channel Management

– Develop and expand dealer/distributor network

– Ensure dealer target achievement, market coverage, and pricing discipline

– Support dealers with technical inputs, site coordination, and client meetings

– Prevent channel conflicts

4. Influencer Engagement

– Build strong relationships with Architects, MEP consultants, PMCs, EPC contractors

– Ensure product specification in BOQs and tenders

– Conduct technical presentations, trainings, and design discussions

5. Project Tracking & Pipeline Management

– Track projects from concept to execution

– Maintain CRM and project pipeline

– Identify decision-makers, competition, and project value

– Focus on high-value strategic projects

6. Technical Sales & Solution Selling

– Strong Engineering knowledge

– Provide optimized technical solutions

– Coordinate with design team for proposals and drawings

7. Specification Selling

– Push for pre-tender product locking

– Convert generic specs to suit company or approved equivalent

8. Key Account Management

– Manage key consultants, EPCs, and clients

– Drive repeat business, vendor registrations, and rate contracts

9. Commercial & Negotiation

– Prepare techno-commercial proposals

– Lead price and contract negotiations

– Ensure profitability and risk control

10. Competition Strategy

– Track competitors

– Develop technical and commercial win strategies

11. Site & Execution Support

– Visit sites regularly

– Resolve installation and execution challenges

– Ensure customer satisfaction

12. Forecasting & Reporting

– Weekly pipeline reviews

– Monthly forecasting and order tracking

– Provide accurate business projections

13. Collections & Financial Discipline

– Ensure timely collections

– Monitor credit exposure and outstanding

14. Market Development

– Identify new geographies and segments (Data Centers, Pharma, Infra)

– Conduct seminars and consultant engagement programs

15. Internal Coordination

– Align with design, supply chain, and finance teams

– Ensure timely proposals and execution

16. Team Handling

– Lead and mentor sales engineers

– Set targets and KPIs

– Drive accountability
