Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a Service Designer to join our Design team on a 12-month contract. This is your chance to grow your career, learn from our talented Senior Designers and strengthen your design capability in a supportive, collaborative team.

You’ll help shape seamless, human-centred experiences for our customers, partners, advisers, brokers and people across Zurich. Using data, insights and deep customer understanding, you’ll design practical solutions that make a real difference.

Working in multidisciplinary teams, you’ll champion the customer voice — uncovering needs, identifying opportunities and creating experiences that are simple, intuitive and meaningful.

As part of our Design chapter, you’ll collaborate with Service, UX/UI and Product Designers to sharpen your craft, explore evolving best practice in an AI-enabled world, and help uplift design across Zurich’s regional and global community.

Important to your success – Unlock your potential

• 4+ years’ experience in Service Design, Strategic Design, CX or Human-Centred Design roles
• A customer-led mindset, with the ability to uncover needs and turn insights into action
• Strong design process knowledge, with confidence to plan and prioritise work independently
• Analytical skills to measure design impact and use data to guide decisions
• Creative problem-solving skills, with a practical mindset to bring ideas to life
• Confidence working in agile teams, partnering with product owners and squads to drive outcomes
• Strong communication skills, with curiosity for AI, emerging technology and digital experience trends
