Your new role

As a Senior IAM Lead / Technical Specialist, you will own and lead the Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain, providing senior‑level technical expertise and advisory services across a modernising ICT landscape.

This position is focused on leadership through influence, rather than people management. You will act as the authoritative subject matter expert for IAM and related infrastructure services, helping the organisation adopt secure, scalable and future‑ready solutions.

You’ll play a key role in supporting innovation by ensuring identity and access capabilities keep pace with evolving business needs, new platforms and emerging technologies, while maintaining strong security, compliance and service stability.

Key areas of responsibility include:

• Owning and leading IAM capability, with a strong focus on Azure and Entra ID
• Providing authoritative advice on identity, access, security controls and compliance
• Driving service stability, release management and operational uplift
• Shaping technical standards, policies and approaches across infrastructure and identity services
• Collaborating with product, operations and security teams to manage risk and improve system performance
• Engaging confidently with senior stakeholders to support informed decision‑making

What you’ll need to succeed

You’ll be a seasoned infrastructure or identity specialist with strong experience providing advisory services in complex environments. You’ll bring:

• Proven senior‑level experience across Identity & Access Management, including Azure / Entra ID
• Strong understanding of infrastructure operations, service management and release/deployment practices
• Experience providing authoritative technical advice to senior stakeholders
• A solid grasp of security controls, compliance and risk management
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear guidance
• Experience overseeing vendors and working across multi‑disciplinary teams
