Job Description
Key responsibilities include:
- Lead the successful delivery of rail infrastructure projects and contracts, ensuring achievement of safety, quality, schedule, commercial and financial objectives.
- Develop and maintain strong client, supplier and subcontractor relationships, managing stakeholder expectations and promoting long-term business opportunities.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, environmental and rail industry requirements through proactive risk management, site leadership and continuous safety improvement initiatives.
- Manage project planning, procurement, budgets, resources and subcontractor performance to deliver projects on time, within budget and in accordance with contractual obligations.
- Provide leadership and direction to project teams, fostering a high-performance culture through coaching, performance management, workforce development and effective communication.
- Monitor project progress, quality and compliance outcomes, preparing accurate reports and implementing corrective actions to mitigate risks and achieve successful project handover.
Experience and capabilities
- Proven successful Project Management experience.
- Prior programming and planning experience.
- Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, Project Management or similar
- Appropriate Track Safe Working Certification & / or ability to obtain
- Hold a valid Driver’s License
- It is preferable for this position to have completed First Aid Training
- This position must be medically fit to perform duties
