Job Description

Key Responsibilities

•     Develop unique media and deployment strategies tailored to each key market (particularly Australia and California), reflecting the distinct audiences, channels, and cultural nuances of each

•     Develop, strategise, and execute marketing campaigns across digital channels

•     Create and edit visual content using basic Adobe Creative Suite skills

•     Capture or direct product photography and food styling that makes our honey look irresistible

•     Generate engaging content for social media, web, and advertising, with strong brand storytelling around our key differentiators.

•     Leverage the latest AI tools to assist with all aspects of media creation, from copy and imagery to video and ideation

•     Plan, place, and manage paid advertising campaigns with a focus on Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and YouTube

•     Manage and optimise SEO to improve search rankings and visibility in both regions

•     Build and grow our email marketing and CRM — mailing lists, newsletters, and customer retention

•     Identify and manage influencer and partnership outreach across food, wellness, sustainability, and lifestyle creators in both markets

•     Oversee and grow the company’s overall online presence and brand consistency

•     Own a defined advertising budget and manage spend against ROAS and cost-per-acquisition targets

•     Build and maintain a market-specific marketing calendar that accounts for opposite seasons across the two regions (gifting periods, allergy season, hot- and cold-drink seasons, etc.)

•     Monitor campaign performance and report on key metrics monthly, refining strategies per marketRequirements

•     Proven experience in marketing and brand management

•     A genuine self-starter who can work independently and take initiative without close supervision

•     Agile and adaptable, comfortable wearing multiple hats and switching between strategy and hands-on execution

•     Ability to craft distinct, market-specific media and deployment strategies rather than a one-size-fits-all approach

•     Confident using the latest AI tools to streamline and enhance media creation across formats

•     Basic Adobe CS proficiency for content creation and editing

•     Basic product photography and food styling skills (or the ability to direct it)

•     Demonstrated ability to plan and execute marketing campaigns end-to-end, single-handedly

•     Hands-on experience running paid ads on Meta platforms and YouTube

•     Solid understanding of SEO best practices

•     Experience with email marketing/CRM and e-commerce platforms

•     Strong content creation, copywriting, and brand storytelling skills

•     Analytics literacy — comfortable with Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, and YouTube Studio so strategy is data-led

•     Comfortable marketing across multiple regions and time zones (Australia and the US west coast)

•     Highly organised, resourceful, and able to juggle multiple projects at once
