Job Description

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend APIs using Laravel
• Design and manage MySQL databases, including database structure design, optimization, and performance tuning
• Design and develop scalable backend modules and features, including database schema design and implementation
• Build and manage Dockerized applications for development, staging, and production environments
• Deploy and manage applications on Microsoft Azure
• Collaborate with frontend and mobile developers to integrate APIs and deliver end-to-end features
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines
• Monitor application performance and troubleshoot production issues
• Design clean, maintainable, and scalable code architecture
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code

Requirements

• Minimum 3+ years of backend development experience
• Strong proficiency in PHP (Laravel)
• Strong experience in backend module design and feature development, including MySQL database design
• Experience with Docker for local development and production deployments
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and best practices
• Proficiency in MySQL, including database design, indexing, query optimization, and performance tuning
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services, including App Services, Databases, and Deployment Slots
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and version control (e.g., Git, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps)
• Experience in designing, developing, and maintaining webhook services, including integration with external providers and handling webhook events reliably
• Experience in system revamp or improvement projects, especially backend service optimization and integration enhancement
