About the Role
In this senior technical position, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and optimising our Microsoft SQL Server environment. You’ll work across complex data flows, support critical business systems, and ensure our data infrastructure is scalable, secure, and reliable.
Key Responsibilities
- Designing and developing advanced stored procedures, queries, tables, views, triggers, and database objects within Microsoft SQL Server
- Managing and maintaining the Microsoft SQL Server environment, ensuring high availability, stability, and performance
- Working with SQL Server Analysis Services (SSAS) to support analytical and multidimensional data models
- Building and maintaining SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) solutions and dashboards
- Developing and optimising SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) packages for ETL workflows and data integrations
- Troubleshooting performance issues and ensuring database best practices are followed
- Contributing to solution design, architecture decisions, and process improvements
About You
We’re looking for candidates with strong technical capability, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to high-quality engineering. To succeed in this role, you should have:
- Advanced SQL Server development skills (stored procedures, database design, query tuning)
- Extensive experience managing SQL Server environments in a production setting
- Hands-on experience with SSAS, SSRS, and SSIS
- Strong understanding of data modelling, integration, and automation
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team
