Job Description

Duties of the Business Analyst (SFIA 4)

• Investigates business situations where there is some complexity & ambiguity;
• Adopts holistic view to identify & analyse problems and opportunities;
• Contributes to the selection of the approach & techniques to be used for business situation analysis;
• Conducts root cause analysis & identifies recommendations for improvements;
• Engages & collaborates with operational stakeholders.

 Duties of the Business Analyst (SFIA 5)

• Plans, manages & investigates business situation analysis where there is significant ambiguity & complexity;
• Advises on the approach & techniques to be used for business situation analysis.
• Ensures holistic view adopted to identify & analyse wide-ranging problems & opportunities;
• Engages & collaborates with a wide range of stakeholders, including those at the management level;
• Gains agreement from stakeholders to conclusions & recommendations;
• Contributes to definition of organisational standards & guidelines for business situation analysis.

Skills and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field
• Minimum 3 years (L0R4) / 5 years (L0R5) Business Analyst experience;

Desirable Qualifications

• IIBA Entry Certificate in Business Analysis (ECBA)
• IIBA Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA)
• IIBA Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP)
