Network Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer

Your new role

This is a pre-sales focused position where you’ll bridge the gap between technology and business outcomes, working closely with customers, partners and sales teams to support solution opportunities from initial discovery through to proposal and demonstration.

• Partner with customers to understand technical and business requirements
• Present solutions, deliver demonstrations, workshops and Proof of Concepts (PoCs)
• Support technical pre-sales activities throughout the sales cycle
• Assist with RFP/RFI responses and solution proposals
• Provide technical guidance to customers, partners and internal stakeholders
• Develop high-level solution designs and supporting documentation
• Work closely with sales teams on solution positioning and customer engagements
• Support opportunities across enterprise networking, wireless connectivity and cloud networking environments

What you’ll need to succeed

• 3–5 years of experience in a Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, Network Consulting or similar customer-facing role
• Strong networking fundamentals including IP networking, VPNs, routing and switching
• Excellent presentation, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience delivering customer demonstrations, workshops and PoCs
• Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Comfortable engaging directly with customers and supporting commercial opportunities
• Exposure to enterprise networking technologies and modern connectivity solutions
• Experience working alongside sales teams to support solution outcomes
• Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP or equivalent are highly regarded
• Exposure to wireless networking, cloud networking or private connectivity solutions is advantageous
