Technical Account Manager

Job Description

As we continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Technical Account Manager to lead a dedicated team of technicians while managing a portfolio of commercial customers.About the Role

You’ll be responsible for your own portfolio of customers and a dedicated team of approximately 3–4 technicians.

You’ll become the single point of contact for your customers, ensuring every job is delivered safely, efficiently and professionally from the initial service request through to invoicing.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Managing relationships with commercial HVAC & Refrigeration customers
• Leading, mentoring and supporting your allocated technicians
• Scheduling and coordinating daily service work
• Providing advanced technical support and fault-finding assistance
• Preparing quotations and repair recommendations
• Managing workflow, WIP and customer priorities
• Monitoring profitability and commercial performance of your accounts
• Identifying opportunities for upgrades, replacements and minor works
• Delivering an exceptional customer experience every day

This isn’t an office-bound role. You’ll spend time supporting your technicians in the field, visiting customers and working closely with our operations team to deliver outstanding service.What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, leading people and building long-term customer relationships.

You’ll ideally have:

• Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
• Extensive experience servicing commercial HVAC & Refrigeration systems
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities
• Leadership or supervisory experience (or the ambition to step into leadership)
• Strong organisational skills
• Commercial awareness and the ability to prioritise competing demands
• A positive attitude and genuine desire to help develop others
