About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and customer-focused Key Account Manager – Oceania to join our Wholesale team on a permanent full-time basis.
Reporting to the Senior Key Account Manager – Oceania, this role is responsible for supporting the growth of our wholesale footwear business through exceptional customer service, strong account management, and effective sales coordination. Working closely with key wholesale partners, you will play an integral role in strengthening customer relationships, driving sales opportunities, and ensuring the seamless delivery of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities
- Present Birkenstock product ranges to wholesale customers, with a focus on large-format retail and multi-site accounts
- Manage and grow existing wholesale accounts while identifying opportunities to develop new business
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships through regular communication and account support
- Support seasonal product presentations and indent selling activities
- Respond to customer enquiries about products, orders, and the Birkenstock brand
- Process customer sales orders and manage stock administration through SAP Business One
- Coordinate and support trade fairs, industry events, and customer presentations
- Provide Customer Care support when required
- Travel interstate and intrastate as required to support customers and business objectives
Key Skills
- Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in Sales or Key Account Management, preferably within footwear, retail, wholesale, or a related industry
- Proven ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Strong sales, negotiation, and account management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and confidently manage customer enquiries
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience using SAP, SAP Business One, or similar ERP systems (desirable)
- Experience using Excel, B2B platforms, and EDI systems (desirable)
- International business exposure or knowledge of global operations (desirable)
