Development Specialist 

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one virtual play therapy sessions with children
• Design playful, age-appropriate activities that keep children engaged and motivated through a screen
• Use play-based techniques to support emotional regulation, communication, language , and developmental goals
• Observe, track, and document each child’s progress
• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and our wider team to align on goals and share updates

Background We’re Looking For

A degree or coursework in one or more of the following:

• Psychology
• Child Development
• Special Education
• Early intervention

Skills You’ll Need

• Strong child engagement skills the ability to connect with children and hold their attention virtually
• Knowledge of play-based therapy approaches
• Patience, empathy, and creativity
• Clear, friendly communication with both children and parents
• Comfort using video-calling tools and basic digital activities and applications .
• understanding of virtual platforms , device and digital application usgae
