What You’ll Be Doing

As our Learning & Development Specialist, you will own the loop that turns operational knowledge into network-wide capability across G.J. Gardner Homes. You will:

• Codify “The G.J. Way”: Work directly with the CTO and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to extract, document, and digitise brand standards, workflows, and core systems.
• Drive Knowledge Operations: Manage our central knowledge base, using helpdesk ticketing reports to identify recurring gaps, build new content, and measure ticket reduction.
• Design & Upgrade Learning Content: Create multi-modal learning—e-learning modules, quick-reference guides, microlearning, and videos—updating existing materials like Franchise Finance.
• Administer TalentLMS: Manage user access, build courses using native authoring tools, and track engagement data to refine learning pathways.
• Apply AI Workflows: Synthesise raw training transcripts, recordings, and documentation using AI to produce structured, reusable learning rapidly.

What You’ll Bring

• A Builder’s Mindset: A proactive problem-solver who can take messy, scattered information and transform it into clean, structured learning.
• AI-Fluid Capabilities: Practical, demonstrable experience using AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini) to create, consolidate, or accelerate content creation.
• Data & Analytical Savvy: Ability to interpret LMS reporting and helpdesk analytics to continuously spot gaps and measure training effectiveness.
• Clear & Simple Writing: Strong written communication skills—acting as the “G.J. Translator” to turn technical jargon into clear, plain language.
• Stakeholder Skills: A consultative approach to draw out critical knowledge from busy SMEs and cross-functional teams.
• Bonus (Helpful, not required): Exposure to TalentLMS, instructional design frameworks, or experience within a franchise, construction, or multi-site network.
