Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to drive business development and achieve sales targets . The ideal candidate will leverage strong industry networks and technical expertise to expand market share, manage client relationships, and support product innovation in the power and utilities sector.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
* Identify and acquire new customers while expanding opportunities with existing clients.
* Analyze potential product and customer needs to inform business growth.
* Collaborate with the R&D team to support new product development and resolve technical/commercial issues.
* Participate in bidding, tendering, and preparation of technical sales documents.
* Monitor competitor activity and ensure the company’s marketing strategies remain competitive.
* Represent the company in business meetings and accept frequent overseas business trips.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
* 5–8 years of proven sales experience, preferably in power AMI, distribution products, water/gas meters, or communication modules.
* Strong industry network and resources in the Nigerian power/utilities market.
* Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
* Target-driven, results-oriented, and experienced in closing high-value sales.
* Willingness to undertake frequent international business travel.
