Deputy General Manager – Finishing SME

Job Description

responsibilities

• Review and validate finishing specifications, mock-ups, and material selections.
• Provide expert guidance on finishing works including plastering, painting, flooring, false ceiling, joinery, and façade finishes.
• Provide expert guidance on finishing material selection.
• Monitor execution quality and ensure compliance with approved drawings and standards.
• Coordinate with architects, consultants, vendors, and site teams to resolve design and execution challenges.
• Conduct regular site audits and issue non-conformance reports with corrective actions.
• Develop finishing work checklists, QA/QC protocols, and acceptance criteria.
• Support in vendor evaluation and selection for finishing packages.
• Train site engineers and contractors on finishing techniques and quality benchmarks.
• Ensure timely completion of finishing works aligned with project milestones.
• Take complete control of design control floor/unit in in terms of SOP and implementation
• Explore new technologies and methods to fast track and deliver better product, reduction of labour involvement (robotics and other methods
