Your new role

You will manage the controlled vocabulary and structure that support search, retrieval and information consistency. You will work closely with data, research, policy and project teams to analyse complex information, shape the taxonomy’s nomenclature and typology, and apply recognised taxonomic standards. You will operate in a fast‑paced environment, contribute to a major national skills initiative and take ownership of the information management approach that underpins the project

What you’ll need to succeed

• Strong experience in taxonomy development, information architecture or content management
• Understanding of taxonomic tools and standards
• Ability to work with complex datasets
• Strong organisation and project delivery skills
• Clear, confident communication
• Comfort working in an environment with changing priorities
• Ability to learn quickly and take ownership of outcomes
• Relevant degree in Information Science, Library Science, Computer Science or similar.
