WordPress Developer & WooCommerce Developer

Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce websites.
• Understand project requirements and convert them into functional solutions.
• Create custom themes, plugins, and WooCommerce extensions as needed.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues in existing WordPress websites.
• Perform website migrations, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
• Optimize website performance, security, and responsiveness.
• Integrate third-party APIs, payment gateways, CRM systems, and external tools.
• Conduct testing, debugging, and quality assurance before deployment.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely project delivery.
• Provide technical support and enhancements for existing client projects.
• Follow coding standards and maintain proper documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in WordPress development.
• Strong experience with WooCommerce customization and development.
• Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.
• Experience with custom theme and plugin development.
• Good understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, and REST APIs.
• Experience with Elementor, Gutenberg, or other page builders.
• Familiarity with Git and version control systems.
• Knowledge of website security and performance optimization.
• Experience integrating payment gateways and third-party APIs.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote environment.
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities.
• Responsible, proactive, and detail-oriented.
• Comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Open to attending an offline technical assessment/interview if required.
