Job Description
The ideal candidate will combine technical website management skills with strong digital marketing and social media expertise to support customer engagement, online sales growth, and brand visibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, maintain, and update the company website and any associated e-commerce platforms.
- Monitor website performance, uptime, functionality, and security.
- Perform regular software, plugin, and CMS updates.
- Coordinate website upgrades, enhancements, and new feature implementations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and user-reported problems.
- Ensure mobile responsiveness and compatibility across browsers and devices.
- Maintain website content including store information, product promotions, catalogs, and announcements.
- Optimise website speed, navigation, and user experience.
- Implement and maintain SEO best practices to improve search engine visibility.
- Manage website backups and disaster recovery procedures.
- Coordinate with external web developers, hosting providers, and vendors when required.
- Develop and maintain social media content calendars.
- Create, schedule, and publish engaging content across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
- Promote weekly specials, seasonal campaigns, new products, and community events.
- Monitor customer engagement and respond to inquiries, comments, and messages in a professional and timely manner.
- Monitor website traffic and user behaviour using analytics tools.
- Track social media performance metrics and campaign effectiveness.
- Generate regular reports on website performance, social media growth, engagement, and digital marketing activities.
- Recommend improvements based on performance data and customer insights.
Skills & Experience
- Diploma or higher, or equivalent experience in Information Technology, Web Development, Digital Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience managing websites and social media platforms.
- Experience with content management systems (WordPress, Shopify, Magento, or similar).
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, and basic web development principles.
- Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and social media management tools.
- Proficiency in graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organisational and project management abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities across five store locations.
