Responsibilities
Download & Edit 40-50 minute livestreams into multiple 10-15 minute videos.
* Create YouTube Shorts, Instagram Reels, and other short-form videos from the same content.
* Add relevant news snippets, slides, Google images, background music, captions, and simple graphics to make the videos more engaging.
* Create and modify YouTube thumbnails using Canva and AI tools such as ChatGPT. Extensive prompting experience with AI image generation tools is a plus.
* Search for relevant images, maps, and visual references to enhance videos.
* Manage the complete workflow from downloading source videos and editing to exporting, uploading, and coordinating thumbnail approval before publishing
Other requirements
* Good video editing skills using Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar software.
* Basic graphic design skills using Canva or similar tools. You should be comfortable creating and modifying thumbnails and simple graphics. Advanced or 3D graphic design skills are not required.
* Basic understanding of AI tools such as ChatGPT and AI image-generation tools.
* Good Google image and online research skills.
* Basic English reading and writing skills.
* Interest in geopolitics, current affairs, and news to understand the context while editing.
* Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines.
