UX Interaction Designer

Job Description

We have a position for an experienced UI Interaction Designer.

What you will be doing:

• Designing an interactive user interface that has aesthetic quality and user-centered design
• Work with the product and development teams for collaboration and agreement on the UI design
• Working in an Agile Product Oriented Delivery (POD) team
• Leading the UI development design
• Consistently bring the user view to the work
• Apply design thinking and interaction design principles
• Looking for opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of development process through lessons learned activities.
• Help to maintain code quality, organization, and automation.

What you’ll need to be successful:

• Bachelor’s degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, graphic design, or equivalent professional experience
• Background in UI/UX design, web design, product design, or graphic design
• 3+ years of experience with React development is required
• Experience with Databricks is required
• Gen AI coding tools experience is highly preferred
• Experience working in an Agile POD is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, interaction design, and user flow
• Excellent command of grammar, style, and brand voice
• Experience in designing products where interaction, language and structure shape the experience
• Proven ability to design for complex digital products
• Experience with influencing direction and achieving clarity and agreement in ambiguous or undefined requirements
• 3+ years of product design experience
• Experience with Figma would be helpful
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence others through design work
• Comfort operating as a design leader without direct ownership
