UI/UX Designer, Jr.

Job Description

The position is fully remote, providing flexibility and the chance to collaborate with diverse international teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 1-2 years of experience in UI/UX design, including internships and academic projects
• Proficiency with industry-standard design tools such as Figma or similar platforms
• Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, methodologies, and best practices
• Experience with wireframing, mockups, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity UI design
• Knowledge of user research methods, usability testing, and data analysis
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML/CSS) is a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively
  

Responsibilities

• Create wireframes, user flows, and high-fidelity prototypes to visualize new features and improvements
• Design user interface components ensuring consistency across the product and adherence to the design system
• Leverage modern design tools and AI-assisted platforms to enhance productivity and creative output
• Develop and organize design assets for seamless collaboration with development teams
• Participate in user research activities such as surveys, interviews, and usability testing to gather insights
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and information architecture to inform design decisions
• Analyze user feedback and industry trends to propose continuous design enhancements
• Collaborate closely with developers to ensure design feasibility and proper implementation
• Present design concepts to stakeholders and incorporate feedback iteratively
• Prepare detailed design specifications and maintain organized documentation for development handoff
• Utilize design systems and AI tools to streamline documentation and ensure consistency
• Stay updated on UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices to continuously improve design quality
• Participate in team meetings, critiques, and collaborative sessions to foster a positive work environment
• Perform other related tasks or ad hoc duties as assigned
