Job Description

Key Responsibilities: 

Installing of radio equipment 

Configuring and integrating network and telecommunications technology with computer software, hardware, desktops, peripherals, databases and operating systems 

Recording logs of the documentation of communication policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations, and quality standards 

Assisting with basic technical advice and information 

Onsite liaising with customers for installation of services 

Understanding customer needs, providing good quality service, and measuring customer satisfaction 

Ability to travel over night for installation work in remote areas. 

Required Experience, Skills & Qualifications: 

Current Drivers Licence 

Current or Willingness to obtain: Working at Heights Certification 

Current or Willingness to obtain: OHS White Card 

Willing to be able to provide a Police Check (when requested) 

Customer Service: Ability to communicate effectively: Verbally, Written 

Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of Microsoft products and Basis knowledge of Wi-Fi and Ethernet Settings 

Ability to work within enclosed spaces 

Ability to work within WHS & OHS guidelines and procedures, including safe use of ladders, working safely from elevated work platforms or rooftops 

Desirable Skills: 

Previous use of Cambium, Ubiquiti and Mikrotik products 

Previous experience in installing antennas, satellite dishes or microwave radio equipment 

Network operations and integrated hardware, software, communications, and operating systems 

Experience with: Circuit boards, processors, chips, electronic equipment, and computer hardware and software, including applications and programming.
