Technical SEO Specialist

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular technical SEO audits and implement fixes (crawlability, site speed, redirects, broken links, etc.)
• Optimize site structure, internal linking, sitemaps, robots.txt, and canonical tags
• Own schema markup implementation and validate rich result eligibility
• Work with engineering on Core Web Vitals, server performance, and JavaScript rendering issues
• Monitor crawl budget, log files, indexation status, and identify technical blockers
• Assist in website migrations, international SEO setup (hreflang), and mobile-first strategies
• Collaborate with content and product teams to ensure new pages meet technical SEO best practices
• Track performance using tools like Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Sitebulb, and custom scripts
• Stay up to date with Google algorithm updates and implement preventative or corrective changes

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and how they affect rendering and indexing
• Deep knowledge of Google’s ranking signals, schema markup, and structured data
• Familiarity with server-side rendering, CMS platforms (WordPress, Webflow, Shopify), and CDNs
• Experience using SEO tools: GSC, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Ahrefs, SEMrush, etc.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in GA4, Looker Studio, and Excel/Sheets
• Understanding of accessibility (WCAG) and mobile UX best practices is a plus
  
  

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with international SEO or large-scale enterprise websites.
• Basic knowledge of JavaScript, Core Web Vitals, and schema markup.
• Familiarity with A/B testing tools and CRO practices.
