Systems and Software Lead

Your new role

You will take ownership of the technical framework that governs how advanced systems and software are defined, integrated, verified, and evolved across a multi-organisation ecosystem.

• Leading the integration and governance of mission-critical systems and software
• Owning requirements, interfaces, and technical baselines
• Reviewing and approving supplier and partner deliverables
• Managing technical risk, issues, and readiness
• Running cross-organisation technical forums and working groups
• Defining future roadmaps for how the system evolves over time

What you’ll need to succeed

This role is designed for someone who has already worked in high-assurance, highly regulated environments and understands how complex systems are governed. You will bring:

• Experience leading or owning systems, mission systems, or software integration
• Strong capability in requirements, interfaces, architecture, and verification
• A track record of reviewing and accepting complex technical deliverables
• The ability to work confidently across multiple organisations and senior stakeholders
• A calm, structured approach to risk, evidence, and decision-making
