Key Technologies

• Any backend technology is accepted. Python, GoLang, PHP, Ruby etc.
• TypeScript
• AI-assisted development tools and workflows

Ideal Candidate

We are seeking someone who:

• Has solid commercial software engineering experience, but is not overly senior
• Has been building software since before the rise of AI-assisted coding and understands core software engineering principles
• Actively embraces modern AI tools to improve productivity and outcomes
• Has worked across multiple applications, products and servicesrather than a single long-term project
• Demonstrates curiosity and versatility across different technologies and domains
• Can work independently while still taking direction when required
• Has experience solving real-world technical and product challenges

Desired Experience

• Developing and maintaining production applications
• Successfully delivering software used by end users in live environments
• Building, deploying and supporting customer-facing systems
• Exposure to a variety of architectures, platforms and services
• Experience integrating software with hardware or external devices is highly regarded
• Interest or experience in AI, conversational interfaces, audio/visual technologies, and simulation environments would be advantageous

• AI-enabled learning and simulation experiences
• Integration of physical simulation devices with software platforms
• Systems involving visual, audio and conversational interactions
• Products used by hospitals, nursing organisations and emergency services
