Who you will be working with: You’ll join a well established Information Services team supporting a large, diverse workforce across Council. The environment is friendly, community oriented and highly collaborative with a strong culture built around teamwork, respect, accountability, communication and customer focus. The Service Desk acts as the frontline for all internal IT queries so you’ll be working closely with staff across all departments as well as the wider IT function.

Duties and responsibilities include:
- Provide first level and some second level IT support across staff, councillors and contractors
- Log, triage, update and monitor service desk tickets and incidents
- Deliver IT inductions for new starters and support staff moves, onboarding and offboarding activities
- Configure and issue computers, manage access changes and update staff databases
- Assist with hardware maintenance, software rollouts and printer consumables
- Update documentation and contribute to continuous improvement of IT processes
- Support project rollouts and logistics as required
- Maintain a secure and confidential operating environment
