Your New Role

As the Senior Software Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing enterprise applications. You’ll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, provide technical leadership, and ensure high-quality software delivery across the SDLC.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Partner with business stakeholders to gather and translate user requirements into technical specifications
• Provide technical leadership and guide solution design using best‑practice engineering approaches
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain web and client/server applications
• Deliver fixes, enhancements, and upgrades aligned with user needs
• Manage application maintenance and support in accordance with agreed service levels
• Apply strong quality control across design, build, and testing phases
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across SDLC processes

What You’ll Need to Succeed

• Strong understanding of modern SDLC practices, including Agile and DevOps
• Extensive experience in developing, integrating, repairing, and maintaining application systems

Solid capability in:

• Oracle PL/SQL
• Oracle ORDS
• Microsoft SSRS
• SourceTree
• HTML, CSS, JSON
• REST APIs
• Proven ability to design enterprise‑grade technical solutions
• Demonstrated leadership and commitment to continuous improvement

Desirable

• Experience with Azure Functions and Azure Service Bus
• JavaScript development experience
• Knowledge of the Higher Education sector
