Senior Power BI Developer

Your new role 
Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering complex data visualisation solutions using Power BI and other BI technologies.
• Leading high-impact analytics initiatives and transforming large, complex datasets into actionable business insights.
• Driving best-practice dashboard design, visual storytelling, and reporting frameworks.
• Evaluating and implementing modern data visualisation platforms and technologies.
• Partnering with senior stakeholders across business and technology teams to understand reporting requirements and influence strategic decisions.
• Leading stakeholder engagement activities and building strong cross-functional relationships.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and promoting data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
• Providing leadership, coaching, and development support to team members where applicable.
• Managing operational risks and ensuring compliance with organisational policies and procedures.

What you’ll need to succeed
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

• Extensive experience developing enterprise dashboards and reporting solutions using Power BI.
• Strong SQL and data analysis capabilities.
• Proven experience working with large and complex datasets within enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical findings into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
• Expertise in data visualisation best practices and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, planning, and organisational abilities.
• Experience leading projects and driving strategic initiatives.
• Previous people leadership experience, including performance management and coaching.
• Business intelligence, analytics, or statistical technology experience.
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent commercial experience
