Senior Oracle Database Developer

Job Description

Job Responsibilities 

• Develop and maintain Oracle databases according to the business requirements and specifications.
• Design and implement database schemas, tables, views, indexes, triggers, procedures, functions, packages, and other database objects using Oracle SQL and PL/SQL.
• Optimise database performance, security, availability, and scalability using Oracle tools and best practices.
• Create and execute unit test cases, debug, troubleshoot issues, document and maintain code quality and standards.
• Collaborate with other developers, analysts, testers, and stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Attend daily standups, technical meetings and contribute to a positive workplace.
• Provide technical support and guidance to developers, delivery managers and Health Business Systems as required.
• Facilitate knowledge transfer and upskilling within the team to ensure continuous improvement and capability development.
• Research and evaluate new Oracle database and features and recommend solutions to improve existing systems and processes.
