Senior .NET Developer

Job Description

Your New Role:

• As a Senior .NET Developer, you will work within the .NET Support Team to support and enhance a portfolio of applications hosted both on‑premises and in the cloud. The role focuses on system upgrades, application stability, and continuous improvement.
• You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to design and deliver solutions that reduce support overheads and improve system reliability. You will also contribute to testing activities, troubleshooting, and ongoing development using modern tooling and agile practices.
• This is a full‑time contract role working Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week, based in Brisbane.

What You Will Need to Succeed:

• At least 7 years of commercial full‑stack development experience using .NET Framework and C#
• Strong experience with Entity Framework, SQL Server, and T‑SQL
• Solid understanding of Git and modern branching strategies
• Hands‑on experience delivering solutions in Microsoft Azure
• Proven ability to develop high‑quality, robust, and testable solutions with strong technical documentation
• Experience working in agile development environments
• Strong problem‑solving skills with the ability to quickly investigate and resolve technical issues
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders
• Experience working directly with clients during troubleshooting and incident resolution
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence
• Government or large enterprise experience (desirable but not mandatory)
