Senior Executive – Project Safety

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety standards, construction/industrial safety practices, and relevant local and international regulations.
• Experience in project safety management, including risk assessment, hazard identification, safety audits, and incident investigation.
• Ability to develop and implement safety procedures, emergency response plans, and training programs for site personnel.
• Competence in coordinating with project management, engineering, and site operations to integrate safety into planning and execution.
• Effective communication, documentation, and reporting skills, with the ability to present safety data and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Proven experience in industrial, construction, or infrastructure projects in a safety-focused role; prior exposure to design-and-build or turnkey projects is an advantage.
• Relevant professional qualifications or certifications in safety (e.g., Diploma in Industrial Safety, NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent) and a technical degree or diploma in engineering or a related field preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work on-site, manage multiple project safety requirements, and promote a culture of continuous improvement in safety performance.
