Job Description
We’re looking for a designer with exceptional visual taste and strong branding capabilities who sees websites and creative deliverables as part of a larger brand ecosystem. This person will lead eCommerce website projects end-to-end, from concept through delivery, while also supporting ongoing creative partnerships with established consumer brands. In this role, you’ll work directly with clients to create elevated, strategically grounded design systems that translate seamlessly across digital and physical touchpoints. You’ll develop styling concepts, create visual directions and digital previews, and execute highly considered designs across a range of brand applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead visual design across eCommerce website projects and ongoing creative retainers for consumer brands.
- Create elevated visual systems that extend across websites, campaigns, product launches, email marketing, social content, digital ads, print materials, and other brand touchpoints.
- Lead eCommerce website design projects from concept through final delivery, including styling exploration, visual direction, and high-fidelity design execution.
- Collaborate with the Creative Director to develop and present creative concepts, visual directions, and design systems.
- Translate brand strategy and visual identity work into cohesive, highly considered digital and marketing experiences across platforms.
- Design a wide range of brand applications across digital and occasional print deliverables while maintaining consistency, quality, and attention to detail.
- Communicate directly with clients through presentations, calls, Slack, and Asana, ensuring clarity, alignment, and a strong client experience throughout projects.
- Maintain organization, accuracy, and excellence across all project deliverables.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
- Has a portfolio featuring premium, visually elevated branding and digital work with exceptional typography, composition, color systems, art direction, and visual storytelling.
- Understands how to evolve and elevate a brand visually before translating that vision across eCommerce, marketing, and broader brand experiences.
- Has experience designing for consumer brands, ideally within fashion, beauty, wellness, lifestyle, or CPG categories.
- Brings a strong foundation in branding and visual design, rather than a purely product or UX-focused background.
- Has 5+ years of professional design experience, ideally within an agency environment.
- Is highly proficient in Figma and comfortable working across Adobe Creative Suite.
- Can demonstrate both strong brand identity thinking and elevated website design for consumer-facing brands.
- Pays close attention to detail, communicates clearly, and balances creativity with organization and follow-through.
- Is confident presenting work, guiding client conversations, and articulating creative decisions thoughtfully.
- Enjoys working remotely and values collaboration; if based near NYC or Connecticut, occasional in-person meetings may be possible.
