Senior Accountant

Job Description

Your new role

Manage a portfolio of HNWI and SME clients
Build strong client relationships and act as a trusted advisor
Prepare and review financial statements and income tax returns
Provide tax planning, business advisory and strategic insights
Review the work of junior and intermediate accountants
Mentor, coach and develop junior team members
Attend client meetings and identify opportunities to add value
Work closely with Partners on complex client matters and projects

What you’ll need to succeed

CA/CPA qualified (or nearing completion)
Previous experience within a public practice accounting firm
Strong business services and taxation knowledge
Experience managing client relationships and reviewing compliance work
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Exposure to advisory services and value-added client engagements
Experience with Xero and cloud-based accounting systems
