ABOUT THE ROLE
We’re seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive outstanding commercial outcomes.
This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll coach high-performing sales professionals, strengthen client relationships, identify new business opportunities and ensure the team consistently delivers exceptional customer experiences.
Reporting to the General Manager Leasing Services, you will:
- Lead, coach and mentor a team of Business Development Managers and Fleet Sales Consultants
- Drive new business growth across Fleetcare’s range of solutions including Novated Leasing, Fleet Management and Telematics/ GPS
- Develop and execute sales strategies that support national business objectives
- Analyse market trends to identify new business opportunities.
- Manage sales pipelines, forecasting and reporting to ensure team targets are achieved
- Support tender opportunities and major sales initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, prospects and industry stakeholders
- Oversee the successful onboarding and implementation of new clients
- Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, systems and customer outcomes
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, customer service and continuous improvement
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
To be successful, you’ll bring:
- Proven experience in a Sales Manager, Business Development Manager or similar leadership role
- Experience leading and developing high-performing sales teams
- Strong commercial acumen and a track record of achieving sales results
- Exceptional relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
- Confidence presenting to senior decision-makers and managing complex sales opportunities
- Strong analytical, reporting and CRM management capabilities
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
