QA Automation Engineer

QA Automation Engineer to help drive software quality and test automation across modern cloud-based applications. In this role, you’ll design and maintain automated testing frameworks, validate web, API, and backend applications, and collaborate closely with engineering and product teams to ensure reliable, high-quality software releases. Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
• Create and execute test plans for web, API, and backend applications
• Perform functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing
• Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
• Identify, document, and track defects through resolution
• Partner with developers and product teams to improve quality throughout the software development lifecycle
• Mentor junior QA team members and promote testing best practices

Requirements

• 5+ years of software quality assurance experience, including 3+ years focused on test automation
• Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, or Cypress
• Experience testing REST APIs using tools such as Postman or ReadyAPI
• Experience with SQL and relational databases
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development environments
• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, Python, JavaScript, or similar languages
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills

Nice to Have:

• Mobile testing experience (iOS/Android)
• Experience with BDD frameworks, performance testing, Docker, Kubernetes, or NoSQL databases
