Your new role
- Maintain the highest standards of workplace safety and environmental compliance.
- Lead investigations into incidents and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
- Oversee day‑to‑day project operations, including subcontractor management, materials, equipment, and resource allocation.
- Report regular progress updates to project leadership.
- Monitor project scope, critical path activities, emerging risks, and performance issues.
- Analyse labour and material expenditures to ensure project financial targets are met.
- Conduct on-site inspections to verify compliance with technical and quality standards.
- Chair and participate in scheduled meetings with stakeholders to track progress and resolve issues.
- Coordinate test and trial activities and support resolution of defects.
- Ensure documentation and records are maintained to required standards
What We’re Looking For
- Experience supervising or coordinating subcontractors or production teams.
- Strong safety leadership within a complex industrial or engineering environment.
- Ability to interpret and communicate technical information clearly.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong ability to read and interpret electrical drawings.
- Understanding of financial and purchasing processes
- Experience within Defence, naval, maritime, or heavy‑industrial environments.
- Knowledge of repair, maintenance, or procurement processes in engineering settings.
