Project Engineer

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Independently manage the execution of residential construction projects from inception to completion.
• Plan, coordinate, monitor, and control day-to-day site activities.
• Ensure timely completion of projects within approved budgets and quality standards.
• Coordinate with architects, structural consultants, MEP consultants, contractors, vendors, and statutory authorities.
• Prepare and monitor project schedules, resource planning, and progress reports.
• Review construction drawings and ensure execution as per approved plans and specifications.
• Supervise site engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and labour teams.
• Monitor material planning, procurement, and consumption at site.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and company policies.
• Conduct quality inspections and implement corrective actions wherever required.
• Resolve technical and execution-related issues at site.
• Verify contractor bills, work measurements, BOQs, and certification of completed work.
• Attend project review meetings and provide regular updates to management.
• Ensure proper documentation, site records, and project reporting.
