Job Description

Description

This role partners with engineering leaders and multiple development teams to drive platform capabilities that enable seamless integration, scalability, and business value. The Product Manager will lead the evolution of a self-service integration platform built on MuleSoft, empowering teams to build and deploy APIs and AI-driven solutions independently. This is a true product leadership role focused on outcomes, prioritization, and long-term platform strategy. You will define and own the product vision, roadmap, and strategy for the Integration Services Platform. Duties:

  • Product Manager will lead the strategy, roadmap, and execution of a large-scale Integration Services Platform supporting thousands of APIs across 40+ enterprise systems
  • Drive adoption of a self-service integration model that reduces dependencies and improves developer enablement
  • Manage and prioritize product and delivery backlogs across multiple engineering teams. Evaluate requests, balance competing priorities, and align work with business objectives and platform goals
  • Create and maintain clear epics, features, and user stories that provide business context and measurable outcomes
  • Partner with engineering leadership on capacity planning, release sequencing, dependencies, and trade-off decisions
  • As a Product Manager, you will build strong relationships with product, engineering, and business stakeholders while communicating priorities and roadmap direction
  • Represent platform initiatives during planning activities, roadmap reviews, and cross-functional discussions
  • Delivery of platform capabilities that drive measurable business and customer outcomes

Requirements

  • Demonstrated experience as a product manager, not a project manager, managing a technical platform or infrastructure product, including backlog ownership and roadmap development
  • Experience writing product requirements that are specific enough to be buildable and contextual enough that engineers understand why the work matters
  • Strong understanding of API design principles, including RESTful patterns, layered architecture concepts, and the tradeoffs involved in building APIs for scale and reusability
  • Hands-on familiarity with enterprise API management platforms; MuleSoft experience is strongly preferred; Comparable experience with Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Azure API Management, or similar platforms, combined with the ability to ramp quickly on MuleSoft, is acceptable
  • Comfortable working within Agile and SAFe frameworks, including cross-ART coordination, PI planning, and dependency management
  • Strong enough understanding of developer experience concepts to credibly lead a long-term transition toward a self-service integration platform
  • Data-literate: comfortable using behavioral analytics, operational data, and outcome metrics to inform prioritization and evaluate whether shipped work delivered the expected value
  • Proven ability to manage incoming demand from multiple stakeholders, prioritize with a clear framework rather than by volume or loudness, and communicate those decisions credibly
