Magazine Designer

Job Description

Responsibilities

• Design and layout textbooks, workbooks, magazines, and educational materials.
• Create and regenerate illustrations based on project requirements.
• Generate original images using AI tools and further edit them to meet publishing standards.
• Modify and improve existing artwork when required.
• Ensure consistency of characters, uniforms, colours, and illustration styles throughout the project.
• Prepare print-ready files.
• Carry out corrections and revisions efficiently.
• Meet agreed project deadlines.

Required Skills

• Adobe Illustrator
• Adobe InDesign
• Adobe Photoshop
• AI image generation tools (ChatGPT, Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, etc.)

Requirements

• Experience in creating books, textbooks, workbooks, magazines, or educational publishing.
• Ability to generate illustrations independently.
• Strong understanding of layout design and print production.
• Familiarity with AI-assisted illustration workflows.
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow design guidelines.
• Tamil language knowledge is preferred.
• Able to work remotely and communicate regularly during the project period.
