Lead Data Engineer

Key Responsibilities :

– Lead the design and development of scalable data pipelines and platforms

– Define and implement robust data models for analytics and business use cases

– Build, integrate, and expose APIs for data integration and consumption

– Use cloud services effectively while collaborating with teams that manage infrastructure and deployments.

– Design containerized data applications leveraging Kubernetes-based environments.

– Ensure data quality, performance, security, and reliability

– Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentoring to the team

– Collaborate with product, backend, and platform teams on data requirements

Required Skills :

– Proven experience in team leadership and technical ownership

– Strong hands-on experience in Python

– Excellent command over SQL and database design

– Deep understanding of Data Engineering principles

– Experience in API integration and API development

– Hands-on experience with Cloud platforms (AWS / Azure)

– Practical experience with Kubernetes and containerized systems

– Experience with large-scale and real-time data systems

– Strong ability to Leverage AI-assisted tools to improve engineering efficiency, decision-making, and code quality.
