Job Description
This role is well suited to someone early in their career who enjoys helping colleagues, answering calls, and building confidence speaking with people both face to face and over the phone. You will be the first point of contact for support requests from staff, assisting with basic system actions and ensuring requests are triaged, resolved or escalated appropriately.
You will be part of a team supporting colleagues and partners across the Ausure business, assisting people at all levels of the organisation with first‑line support, basic application tasks, and accurate logging and triage of enquiries. This is a client‑facing role within the business and requires professionalism, approachability, and a genuine desire to help others whilst building your problem-solving and customer service skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide first line technical support to end users via phone, email and ticketing system.
- Troubleshoot various application and Level 1 IT issues.
- Answer and direct incoming support calls in a professional and friendly manner
- Provide face‑to‑face support to staff when required
- Log, track, and update support requests accurately
- Escalate application and \ or systems issues to senior team members or external providers when outside the scope of Level 1 support
- Gain exposure to application, system, and IT support processes under guidance from the Support and IT teams
- Follow documented processes and instructions
To be considered for this role, you should have:
- Experience in a customer service, administration, call centre, help desk, or support role is highly regarded
- Graduates or candidates looking to start a career in customer service, application or IT support are encouraged to apply
- Strong customer service skills, with a friendly and professional approach
- Confidence speaking with people in person and over the phone
- Good listening skills and the ability to ask clear questions to understand user issues
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to learn
- The ability to prioritise tasks in a fast‑paced team environment
- The ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
