This role is a 5-month contract with possibility of extending. Overview: The Junior Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting ServiceNow solutions with a focus on integration, IT Service Management (ITSM), and the Configuration Management Database (CMDB). This role works closely with stakeholders and technical teams to deliver reliable, scalable, and well-designed ServiceNow capabilities that support business and operational needs. Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and develop ServiceNow applications, workflows, and scripts across ITSM and CMDB
- Build and support ServiceNow integrations with internal and external systems using APIs, MID Server, and data imports
- Develop and maintain CMDB data models, relationships, and supporting automations
- Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and product owners to translate requirements into technical solutions
- Troubleshoot issues, resolve defects, and support testing and deployment activities
- Follow ServiceNow best practices and development standards to ensure maintainability and performance
- Document technical designs, configurations, and integration logic
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience
- Hands-on experience with ServiceNow development
- Experience with CMDB development, data modeling, and CI relationships
- Experience building ServiceNow integrations (REST/SOAP, Integration Hub, MID Server)
- Strong knowledge of ITSM modules (Incident, Problem, Change, Request, Knowledge)
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (JavaScript, Glide APIs)
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
