Kforce has a client in NYC that is seeking a JavaScript Engineer. Summary: We are seeking a JavaScript Engineer with strong experience in Node.js and React to support the development of scalable, high-performance web applications. This role will focus on building reusable components, improving application performance, and contributing to modern front-end architecture. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable web applications and frameworks
• Design and build reusable components, libraries, and APIs
• Optimize applications for speed, performance, and cross-platform compatibility
• Implement automation for builds, testing, and deployment processes
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions
• Review code, identify issues, and ensure best practices are followed
• Support end users and provide technical guidance as needed

Requirements

• Strong experience with JavaScript, Node.js, TypeScript, and React
• Solid understanding of front-end development concepts and web standards
• Experience with modern tools (e.g., Webpack, Babel, NPM/Yarn)
• Knowledge of component-based architecture and reusable code design
• Experience with automated testing (unit, integration, etc.)
• Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills
• Experience building scalable, enterprise-level applications
• Familiarity with performance optimization and benchmarking
• Exposure to open-source development or reusable library creation
