Investment Operations and Data Analyst – Python & SQL

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

• Support the end-to-end ETF trade lifecycle, including trade capture, settlement, corporate actions, creations, redemptions and reporting
• Perform daily cash, holdings and transaction reconciliations, maintaining a high standard of data integrity and accuracy
• Use Python, SQL and other analytical tools to manipulate data, automate repetitive tasks and reduce manual processing
• Investigate trade, reconciliation and market-related issues, identify root causes and implement practical solutions
• Partner with technology and data teams to develop, test and implement automation, API and data-validation solutions
• Contribute to new ETF launches, system enhancements, operational documentation and broader process-improvement projects

Skills and Experience

• A bachelor’s degree with a strong academic record in a quantitative discipline such as Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics or Finance
• A high-achieving graduate or professional with up to five years’ experience in investment operations, fund administration, financial technology, trading operations or data analytics
• Practical Python and SQL skills, with experience in data manipulation, analysis, automation and reporting
• Strong analytical reasoning, attention to detail and a structured approach to solving complex problems
• A genuine interest in financial markets, ETFs, investments and trading; exposure to APIs, automation, AI or machine learning is highly advantageous
• Clear communication skills, intellectual curiosity and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders
