Job Description
Key responsibilities
- Providing generalist HR support across recruitment, employee relations, performance management and learning and development
- Managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including job advertising, shortlisting, interviewing and onboarding of new employees
- Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures that promote a positive workplace culture
- Supporting employee relations matters, including performance management conversations and conflict resolution
- Ensuring compliance with employment laws, awards and enterprise agreements
- Coordinating training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and capability
- Maintaining accurate HR records and databases
- Supporting management with workforce planning and organisational design matters
What we’re looking for
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline, or equivalent professional HR experience
- 3+ years of experience working in a HR role such as advisor, manager or executive position within a manufacturing or similar operational environment
- Proficiency in HR information systems and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with employees at all levels
- Demonstrated experience in recruitment, employee relations and performance management
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- High levels of integrity and confidentiality
- A collaborative approach to problem-solving and a commitment to supporting employee wellbeing
