Roles & Responsibilities

About the Role

We are looking for a developer to create interactive digital learning resources for educational publishing projects. You will turn approved storyboards and content into polished, responsive HTML5activities, test them across devices, and support deployment to e-learning platforms such as the Singapore Student Learning Space (SLS).

Key Responsibilities

• Develop interactive HTML5activities such as quizzes, matching games, drag-and-drop tasks, branching activities and simple simulations.
• Build or modify e-learning projects using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript and, where relevant, Articulate Storyline360 or similar tools.
• Integrate text, graphics, animation, audio and video into a clear and engaging user experience.
• Ensure activities are responsive, touch-friendly and compatible with desktop, tablet and mobile browsers.
• Test, troubleshoot and fix technical issues; implement feedback and revision requests promptly.
• Maintain organised source files and hand over editable working files, assets and basic documentation.

Requirements

• Good working knowledge ofHTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript.
• Experience developing interactive web or e-learning content.
• Understanding of responsive design, browser debugging, iframe embedding and mouse/touch interactions.
• Strong attention to detail andability to follow storyboards, specifications and deadlines.
• Able to test across common desktop and mobile browsers.
• Portfolio showing relevant interactive projects.

Good to Have

• Experience with Articulate Storyline 360, SLS or other learning platforms.
• Familiarity with SVG/Canvas, MathML/KaTeX/MathJax, GeoGebra, Desmos, JSON and structured data.
• Animation, motion graphics, image, audio or video editing skills.
